HISTORY FILE – Registered new on the 8th January 1992 this fine example has covered a mere 142,369 kilometers under 4 owners although, the last two stemmed from the same household, so it’s essentially only 3 owners. Clearly all three households have faithfully maintained the car to the highest degree with documentary evidence apparent throughout, with the vast majority of invoices coming from the second owner between 1995 and 2011. Then owned by an English gentleman residing in Göttingen, Germany, the car is fastidiously maintained over his 16 year reign, only travelling 64,000 kilometers for the period. The final household purchased the car in 2011 as part of a small collection and is further maintained privately to the highest level. Used essentially to holiday in throughout Europe, the Toll stickers in the file are a quirky addition to the cars history. The vehicle presents beautifully, right down to its red indoor car cover and additional Jaguar alloys with winter tyres; all of which should make the new owner absolutely thrilled. These later models are now becoming increasingly sought after with this particular example clearly, one of the very best available.

EXTERIOR – This is an original European (German) specification vehicle finished in Jet Black and still retains its original headlights. The solid colour is mostly original with the exception of the boot which was recently painted after showing some scratches. Following a recent professional polish the detailing has really brought the colour back to life and is now ready for the proud new owner to be. With the exception of the front right corner bumper, the remainder of the bright-work is all in fine fettle.

INTERIOR – The unmarked black leather seats contrast tastefully with the grey alcantara headlining and matching light grey carpets. Additional goodies include electric (2-way) memory, heated front seats; along with up-graded air condition (R134A). Incredibly, both centre console ashtrays are unused as they left the factory! The original Jaguar Dolby radio/tape is still present working in combination with the standard electric antenna.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION – The 4.0 AJ6 engine, 4 speed automatic electronic ZF4HP24E transmission cruises beautifully as extensively used by the last owner who often holiday in central Europe in the car. The engine bay is nicely detailed and far more accessible that it’s V12 predecessor. The option gearbox Sports mode works as Jaguar intended. There are plenty of invoices in the history file confirming the cars well maintained past.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES – The factory Lattice 15” sports alloys are in perfect condition and are shod in Pirelli P600 235/60 R15 tyres with almost new tread. The anti-lock braking system grips relentlessly to all four discs offering safe, consistent and predictable stopping power. Confirming the superb maintained condition, the car is offered with an additional set of Jaguar Starfish alloys with winter Hankook tyres.
