A ‘head turner’ Audi TT Roadster Quattro V6 3.2 DSG with immaculate Audi history

HISTORY FILE – This is a car close to our heart at Cathedral Classics. Sold as a new car by Stewart to a British Army officer in 2005, it was first registered within the British Forces Germany (BFG) registration system before being registered on the German net in 2009. Cathedral Classics were delighted to purchase the car in 2018 before selling it again to a new discerning home. Now a two owner car it has been Audi maintained and serviced to within an inch of its life; fastidiously cared for, it has literally wanted for nothing throughout the cars 15 year lifespan. Full Audi dealer service history plus much more besides.

EXTERIOR - The stunning factory Moro Blue Pearl effect paint (code LZ5J) with matching blue electric hood is in a superb combination. Commensurate with a 15 year old car and original paint, there are naturally a few small marks here and there but, nothing that will offend any new owner. Good original TT’s are becoming a rare sight these days and this one will not disappoint with its Audi supplied boot-rack and bespoke luggage. Not to forget the cars bespoke TT car cover.

INTERIOR – This luxurious interior is trimmed in Audi’s unmistakable Moccasin Baseball leather including the steering wheel and gear knob which were factory options. Other factory ordered options include: BOSE speaker system with additional 6-CD changer; an enhancing after-market fit i-pod cable has been professionally installed. The slick electric glass windbreak was way ahead of its time. Bespoke TT luggage makes this car an absolute must for a week-end away.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION - This six cylinder engine, DOHC with 3189cc and 250ps produces a top speed of 155mph and 0-62 in 6.4 seconds is effortlessly achieved in a scintillating manner. Maintained to a high standard, the beautifully smooth engine is happy at all speeds, but really comes to life when using the advance technology paddle shift gearbox. This really was Vorspruch durch Technik for its time: quattro permanent four wheel drive with six-speed DSG with electro-hydraulic control. A spotlessly clean engine compartment completes the appeal of this enthusiast owned example.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES – Almost new Michelin 225/40 ZR18 tyres cover the factory option Cross Spoke alloys. The ABS/EBD braking system with ventilated brake discs front and rear offer safe, rapid stopping power. Titanium 10 spoke alloys with Continental 225/45 R17 winter tyres are further proof of this cars immaculate level of maintenance.
