Like so many 911 from the period, our Targa example starts life in the United States before making its way back to Europe and arriving in the UK in September 1997. The UK MOT certificates show little use between 2007 and 2019 where, interestingly, less than 1000 miles has been covered. Unsurprisingly, this particular example was under the supervision of 4 UK owners during the cars 20+ year UK tenure before the final owner exported the car back to its homeland of Germany in 2019. Since being essentially “back home” the car has been subject to a sympathetic restoration which has taken 18 months to complete. The car is now ready for the summer of 2020 and awaits its new custodian.
