History File

This extremely rare German specification ‘Pap Brief Fahrzeug’ offers documented history to confirm its 4 owners. A detailed Purchase Order from 1985 between the third and final forth owner indicates that the car exchanged hands for DM31,000 which was not an insignificant amount, even back then. The comprehensive Mercedes book pack is complete along with the cars original Fahrzeug-Daten vehicle Production Card confirming the original colour combination and specification. The vehicle has matching numbers, but an original exchange engine was installed by Mercedes Benz on 09.11.1978. (Installation passport available). The installation was completed by Autohaus Collee Limburg/Lahn DB at 97,858 km’s. Full details are listed below. The car is now nearing completion having recently received its new exterior paint colour Mercedes-Benz Anthracite Grey Metallic (7172). Mechanically, a full engine, gearbox and axle restoration rebuild has already taken place and now awaits the final stages of a new Congac interior refit.
